Job summary

Te Whānau Tupu Ngātahi o Aotearoa – Playcentre Aotearoa is seeking a Kaimahi to support day-to-day operations across four Playcentres in Horotiu, Taupiri, Nawton and Dinsdale. This 16.5-hour-per-week, term-time role starts 24 November 2026 and includes one week during school holidays.

You will assist with administration, enrolments, and event coordination, while upholding Playcentre policies and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Qualifications

• You're organised, proactive, and thrive in a small team.
• Strong attention to detail and enjoy helping others.
• Experience in Playcentre or Early Childhood settings.
• NZ residency or valid NZ work visa required.
• Understand ECE legislation and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support centre whānau in day-to-day operations, including administration, enrolments, and coordination of centre activities.
• Ensure compliance with Playcentre Aotearoa policies and Health & Safety requirements.
• Welcome, induct, and support new whānau, fostering belonging and engagement.
