Playcentre Aotearoa seeks a Centre Coordinator to support Thames Parawai and Paeroa Playcentres during term time, delivering 9 hours weekly in a permanent part-time role. You will collaborate with whānau, lead adult education, and ensure sessions reflect Playcentre philosophy.
You will apply your Certificated teaching background, First Aid certification, and knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi to strengthen learning, safety and Māori cultural values.

About the role
Working in collaboration with centre whānau and other centre support staff, the centre Ccordinator focuses on building adult capability and confidence.
As the Person Responsible on session, this role provides high-quality support and pedagogical guidance to Playcentre whānau. The centre coordinator ensures sessions and programmes reflect Playcentre Philosophy and enriches children’s learning and development.
