Employer Sponsored Jobs in Auckland is seeking two dependable outdoor workers to maintain newly planted trees on a fixed-term contract until 27 March 2027. Roles involve driving a watering truck, reading tree conditions, and keeping careful records across parks, reserves, streetscapes and public spaces.

This position requires a full Class 1 NZ driver licence (Class 2 an advantage), outdoor fitness for all weather, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Irrigate young trees and vegetation around Auckland.
• Operate watering truck, tanks, pumps and hoses.
• Inspect plants and report any damage or stress.
• Support planting crews with mulching and weed control.
• Carry out pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain accurate watering records and timesheets.
• Ensure site safety and cleanliness after each job.

A green asset management business in Auckland needs two dependable outdoor workers to keep its newly planted trees alive and thriving. It is filling the Planting and Aftercare Team Member role on a fixed-term basis until 27 March 2027.

The employer wants people who can drive a watering truck, read the condition of young trees and keep careful records. Sites include parks, reserves, streetscapes and public spaces around the city. The employer is accredited to sponsor migrants under the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV).

Work runs Monday to Friday at 47.5 hours per week until March 2027.

• Irrigate young trees and new vegetation throughout Auckland
• Operate the watering truck along with its tanks, pumps and hoses
• Inspect plants and report any that are vandalised, damaged, failing or under stress
• Support planting crews with mulching and weed control
• Carry out pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment each day
• Maintain accurate watering records and timesheets
• Finish each job with the site safe, clean and tidy, meeting all health, safety, environmental and quality requirements

• Holds a full Class 1 New Zealand driver licence (Class 2 an advantage)
• Physically fit to a high level and willing to work outside in all conditions
• Preferred experience: parks maintenance, horticulture, tree planting, landscaping, vegetation management or outdoor labouring
