Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years as a landscape gardener, ideally including hard landscaping
• A recognised horticultural qualification
• Outstanding knowledge of horticulture with a genuine interest in plants
• Excellent communication, including the ability to deal directly with clients
• Can work as part of a team and also without supervision
• Able to follow instructions and meet deadlines
• Holds a full driver's licence for manual and automatic vehicles, with training on manual available if needed
• Committed to health and safety
• Pays close attention to detail and shows a high level of initiative
• A good level of physical fitness
• Must have the right to work in NZ

Job description

An established Auckland landscaping and garden-building business needs a skilled Landscape Gardener to join its crew. The firm wants someone who sets a strong example on site and delivers work clients are proud of, backed by the same service focus the business shows from the first meeting to handover.

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, and the employer also has part-time and casual openings.
