Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a Maintenance Planner in New Zealand to keep regional plants safe, reliable, and running efficiently. The role involves proactive planning and execution with regular travel between sites and participation in the on‑call roster.

Responsibilities include coordinating preventative, corrective, and shutdown maintenance, monitoring performance, and driving reliability improvements using SAP and CMMS systems.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation with experience in a continuous process plant.
• Strong maintenance planning, scheduling and work management experience using CMMS systems.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills focused on reliability and continuous improvement.
• Experience leading or coordinating maintenance activities in an operational plant environment.

• Ensure plants operate safely, reliably, and in line with company, regulatory, and quality standards
• Monitor maintenance performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive reliability outcomes
• Manage maintenance systems, work schedules, inventory, records, and contractor activities through SAP
• Troubleshoot plant issues, support condition monitoring programs, and lead root cause investigations
• Collaborate with site teams, the Remote Operating Centre, and other stakeholders, including participation in the on‑call roster and travel to regional sites

What makes you great

• Trade qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation, with experience in a continuous process plant environment
• Strong maintenance planning, scheduling and work management experience, including CMMS systems
• Proven troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement
