Job summary

Linde New Zealand Ltd in Hamilton seeks an experienced Bulk Tanker Driver to night-shift, delivering products across Waikato-Auckland-Northland. You will complete pre-start checks, load, transfer and discharge products, and keep accurate delivery records.

Qualifications

• NZ Class 5 Driver Licence with DG endorsement.
• Experience driving heavy vehicles and operating tanker systems.
• Strong safety mindset and compliance with NZ transport regulations.
• Ability to complete electronic documentation accurately.
• Knowledge of bulk transfer and pumping systems; forklift/Approved Filler qualifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-start checks, vehicle inspections and safety observations.
• Safely load, transfer, and discharge products using tanker and pumping systems.
• Verify products, quantities and delivery instructions before each delivery.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete documentation using company systems.
• Identify and report hazards, incidents, near misses and equipment issues.
• Keep vehicles and equipment clean, compliant and well-maintained.
• Collaborate with customers, site personnel and internal teams for smooth operations.
• Participate in safety meetings, training and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support operational needs during busy periods and ensure supply continuity.
• Ensure compliance with transport, dangerous goods and hazardous substances regulations.

We're on the lookout for an experienced Bulk Tanker Driver to work our Tuesday-Saturday night shift, delivering products to customers and company locations throughout Waikato-Auckland-Northland.

What you will enjoy doing

• Complete pre-start checks, vehicle inspections, and safety observations
• Safely load, transfer, and discharge products using tanker and pumping systems
• Ensure products, quantities, and delivery instructions are correct before delivery
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete documentation using company systems and mobile technology
• Identify, report, and help manage hazards, incidents, near misses, and equipment issues
• Keep vehicles, tankers, pumps, and equipment clean, compliant, and well-maintained
• Work closely with customers, site personnel, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
• Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support operational requirements during busy periods and help maintain supply continuity
• Ensure compliance with all transport, dangerous goods, and hazardous substances regulations
