Job summary

Fisher & Paykel Healthcare is seeking a Plant Production Controller to join our Operations Systems Team in Auckland. The role focuses on developing and implementing modern scheduling practices to improve delivery performance, production flow, and inventory levels.

You will lead design and deployment of scheduling systems, applying lean principles to shape a world-class manufacturing operation. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and Operational

Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with production planning, S&OP, inventory management, or capacity planning.
Experience implementing process improvements, systems, or operational change initiatives.
Experience in production scheduling, production planning, supply chain planning, or manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimise production schedules to meet customer demand and service level targets.
Balance production priorities, capacity constraints, material availability, and inventory requirements.
Monitor schedule adherence and proactively identify and address production risks.
Coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to ensure production plans remain achievable.
Manage and communicate schedule changes in response to changing business requirements.
Build the Future of Scheduling: define and implement the next generation of production scheduling.
