Job summary

CanRecruit is seeking reliable pick packers for our Christchurch warehouse during the busy Christmas period. You will pick and pack orders, handle repetitive lifting, and stay on your feet for long shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Training is provided, with forklift and voice-picking experience optional. Shifts are 32 hours per week (Wed/Thu/Fri/Sun) from 3:30pm to 12:00am, with potential for permanent employment and immediate starts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment and pick/pack duties.
• Ability to lift and twist repetitively and stay on your feet.
• Availability over the Christmas period and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders.

PICK PACKERS WANTED!
Our client is looking for reliable and physically fit Pick Packers to join their busy team for the upcoming peak season.
This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a well-established company, with the potential for the right people to move into a permanent position after the busy season.

The Role

You'll be working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently. This is a physical and repetitive role as you will be dealing with a variety of supermarket products, so you'll need to be comfortable being on your feet for the duration of your shift.

Duties will include:

• Picking and packing customer orders
• Repetitive lifting, twisting and bending
• Stacking your pallet & wrapping for dispatch
• Communicating with the team, team leaders and other staff members
• Checking orders for accuracy
• Jiffy operation (pallet forklift) - training provided
• Using voice picking headsets
• Working as part of a busy team to meet daily targets

We're looking for people who are:

• Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting and twisting
• Reliable and punctual
• Have warehouse/pick packing experience
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to perform repetitive tasks
• Have a good eye for detail
• Positive and team-focused
• Available to work throughout the Christmas and New Year period

Previous warehouse or pick-packing experience is beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right attitude and work ethic.

Hours

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday
3:30pm - 12:00am
4 x 8-hour shifts - 32 hours per week

Please note: shifts in December will differ slightly from the normal roster due to Christmas period cover.
