Habit Health's Victoria Street Clinic in Hamilton is seeking a driven Community Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team, delivering client-centred rehabilitation for ACC Concussion and Pain contracts.

You will assess and implement rehab plans across community and clinic settings, collaborating with psychologists, OTs, exercise physiologists and other allied health professionals to improve outcomes for concussion and persistent pain.

Qualifications

• NZ Physiotherapy registration with APC is required
• Experience with ACC-funded rehab is preferred
• Interest in concussion rehabilitation and pain management
• Full New Zealand driver licence for community-based work
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Deliver assessment and rehabilitation services under ACC Concussion and Pain contracts
• Develop individualized rehabilitation programmes in both community and clinic settings
• Collaborate with psychologists, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists and other allied health professionals
• Complete comprehensive clinical assessments, goal setting and progress reviews
• Prepare high-quality reports outlining client abilities, goals, recommendations and outcomes
• Utilise diary management and clinical software systems effectively
• Support clients to achieve independence and return to meaningful activities

Our Victoria Street Clinic in Hamilton is seeking a driven and skilled Community Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. This role provides the opportunity to work predominantly within our ACC Concussion and Pain contracts, supporting clients to achieve meaningful outcomes and improve their quality of life.

This is a permanent full-time position offering a varied caseload across the community and clinic settings. You will work alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team, delivering client-centred rehabilitation programmes and contributing to positive health outcomes for people experiencing the effects of concussion and persistent pain.

Main responsibilities:

• Deliver assessment and rehabilitation services for clients under ACC Concussion and Pain contracts

The ideal candidate:

• NZ Physiotherapy registration with a current APC
• Experience working within ACC-funded rehabilitation services is preferred
• Experience or a strong interest in concussion rehabilitation and pain management
• Understanding of a biopsychosocial approach to rehabilitationFull New Zealand Driver Licence, as community-based work is required
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
