Job summary

Allevia Hospitals in Auckland requires NZ registered Physiotherapist to work casual shifts, mostly on weekends, at our Epsom site. You will provide inpatient physiotherapy and discharge services for patients after orthopaedic, cardiac or general surgery.

The role demands NZ registration with the Physiotherapy Board and a current APC, surgical hospital experience, and weekend availability. Only candidates eligible to work permanently in New Zealand will be considered.

Qualifications

• NZ registration with Physiotherapy Board of NZ and a current APC.
• Experience working as a physio in a surgical hospital environment.
• Experience with orthopaedic and cardiothoracic patients.
• Availability for weekend work.
• You are not already working fulltime elsewhere.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient physiotherapy and discharge services at the Epsom site.
• Treat patients post-orthopaedic, cardiac or general surgery.
• Work casual shifts, mostly on weekends, in a private hospital setting.

Allevia Hospitals is one of New Zealand's largest private surgical facilities with 25 theatres across 3 sites. We have a vacancy for a NZ registered Physiotherapist to work casual shifts, mostly on weekends, to provide inpatient physiotherapy & discharge services at our Epsom site. You’ll be treating patients who have undergone orthopaedic, cardiac or some type of general surgery.
