Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a NZ Registered Physiotherapist for casual inpatient or outpatient cover in Taranaki. You will provide thorough assessment and treatment to patients, on an as-needed basis, with orientation and competency training.

The role can include weekend duties if desired and is based in the Physiotherapy department at Taranaki Base Hospital or community locations. A commitment to excellent care and ongoing learning is essential.

Qualificações

• NZ Registered Physiotherapist with current Annual Practising Certificate.
• Valid NZ work visa and driver’s licence.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Willingness for ongoing self-directed learning.
• Te Reo speaking is an advantage.
• This role is not suitable for those requiring visa sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment in inpatient or outpatient settings on a casual basis.
• Rostered weekend duties may be required if desired.
• Work within the Physiotherapy department at Taranaki Base Hospital or community locations.
• Contribute to patient care plans and multidisciplinary teams.

About you

You will need to have:

• Current NZ Physiotherapy Annual Practising Certificate
• Valid work Visa for NZ and Drivers licence
• Hospital experience preferred
• Problem solving approach
• Excellent cultural knowledge & practice
• Te Reo speaking is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills to work with other staff and patients
• Excellent computer skills
• Desire for ongoing self-directed learning
• Working visa/NZ residence (as appropriate). This role is not suitable for those needing a sponsored work visa.
