Job summary

Habit Health in Wellington is seeking a Physiotherapist or Senior Physiotherapist to join our Wellington team. Flexible opportunities across locations allow tailoring of your caseload around your interests and expertise.

Senior clinicians can develop a focus in concussion rehabilitation and/or pain management while contributing to musculoskeletal and broader rehabilitation services. We welcome candidates locally and those eligible to register in NZ.

Qualifications

• Registered physiotherapist with current NZ APC.
• Minimum 2 years physiotherapy experience.
• Experience in concussion rehab and/or pain management is a plus.
• Strong time management and organisation skills.
• Full NZ Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality rehabilitation across clinic and community settings.
• Complete assessments and tailor rehabilitation plans.
• Manage a varied caseload including musculoskeletal, concussion and pain management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve client outcomes.
• Prepare clinical reports and documentation for ACC and stakeholders.
• Build relationships with clients, referrers and stakeholders.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to clinical excellence.

Job Description

What you'll be doing

• Deliver high-quality rehabilitation services across clinic and community settings
• Complete comprehensive assessments and develop tailored rehabilitation plans
• Manage a varied caseload, which may include musculoskeletal, concussion, and pain management clients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to achieve the best outcomes for clients
• Prepare high-quality reports and clinical documentation for ACC and other stakeholders
• Build strong relationships with clients, referrers, and key stakeholders throughout the rehabilitation journey
• Contribute to clinical excellence and, for senior clinicians, provide mentorship and guidance to colleagues

About you

• Registered Physiotherapist with a current New Zealand APC
• Minimum of 2 years' physiotherapy experience
• Experience in concussion rehabilitation and/or pain management is advantageous but not essential
• Strong understanding of ACC-funded rehabilitation services
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Full New Zealand Driver Licence
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Passionate about delivering outstanding rehabilitation outcomes
• For Senior Physiotherapist applicants, demonstrated clinical leadership and mentoring experience will be highly regarded
