Job summary

APM New Zealand is seeking a passionate Physiotherapist to join our Blenheim team, delivering vocational and community rehabilitation services across homes and the wider community. You will collaborate with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team to support clients through goal-driven rehabilitation and return-to-work plans.

You will bring strong clinical reasoning, current registration and a commitment to high-quality client-centred care, with clear communication to clients, whanau and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Clinical physiotherapist with current registration and practising certificate.
• Experience delivering rehabilitation and community-based care is essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication with clients, whanau and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver workplace and community rehabilitation services across homes, workplaces and community settings.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to support clients to achieve rehab goals.
• Provide high-quality rehabilitation that aligns with outcomes and service standards.

About The Role

Reporting to your Team Leader, you’ll be part of a vibrant team culture that supports and empowers each other every day.

Vocational Rehabilitation (SAW & BTW)

• Confident delivering workplace assessments, graduated return-to-work plans and task analysis
• Knowledge of vocational services pathways

Community Rehab Services

• Provide rehabilitation and support to individuals within their community
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to help clients achieve their rehab goals
• Knowledge of community services pathways

• Use your clinical expertise to support clients in homes, workplaces, and communities - no two days are the same
• Deliver care that aligns with our strong internal focus on excellence and outcomes

• Relevant qualifications, professional registration and a valid practicing certificate

• At least 2 years’ experience working within vocational rehabilitation and community rehabilitation services
