Alignerr is seeking a Physics Subject Matter Expert (AI Training) to help train and elevate AI models. This fully remote, flexible contract role offers 10–40 hours per week and collaboration with world-leading AI research teams.

You will design challenging physics problems across mechanics, EM, thermodynamics, and quantum topics, and craft rigorous step-by-step solutions to serve as gold-standard references for AI training. This role values independent, precise writers.

Qualifications

• Clear and precise written communication in English.

Responsabilités

What You'll Do

• Design challenging, well-structured physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and more
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with rigorous logic to serve as gold-standard references
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, reasoning quality, and clarity
• Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level physics
• Provide structured, actionable feedback that helps AI models reason more like expert physicists

Who You Are

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Masters degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field
• Strong problem-solving skills across advanced physics domains
• Able to communicate complex ideas clearly and precisely in writing
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
• No prior AI or machine learning experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation workflows
• Familiarity with writing technical content or educational materials
• Background in computational or experimental physics
