Job summary

The Dunedin Hospital Pharmacy service at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora provides full clinical and operational support, including an Aseptic Production Unit. We are seeking a Pharmacist to contribute across dispensary and clinical activities, in a role that supports diverse patient care.

Hospital experience is preferred; registration with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand is required. The position is 1.0 FTE, based in Dunedin, with pro-rata salary $84,297-$119,300 plus Kiwisaver.

About the Role

The Dunedin Hospital Pharmacy service provides a full clinical and operational service to Dunedin Hospital, and we have a full Aseptic Production Unit. We provide a wide range of clinical services encompassing both generalist and specialist skills and are looking for someone to provide a service where their skills allow (be it in the dispensary, or clinically).

About you

You will have the ability to work and contribute as part of a team, have excellent time management skills, be a great communicator in verbal and in written language, and have very high standards of ethical and professional practice. A mature approach is essential as is having the ability to adapt to an ever-changing health environment.

• Hospital experience is preferred so you can hit the ground running
• Registered as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand under the provisions of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003
