Job summary

Flaxmere Pharmacy in Hawke’s Bay invites you to join our growing clinical services team. We recently moved into brand new premises with a large dispensary and three consult rooms.

We offer a permanent full-time or part-time Pharmacist position with opportunities for learning and progression, including support for re-sits at the Assessment Centre and strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Pharmacist with current practising certificate.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a busy retail/pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow professional services offered by the pharmacy.
• Provide high-quality patient counselling and services such as MUR and vaccinations where applicable.
• Collaborate with the team and health professionals to improve community health.

Getting tired of not being able to have a day off or go on holiday? Come join our team! Having five Pharmacists enables us to provide Pharmacist services with great support. It also offers a lifestyle where we can take breaks and holidays when wanted.

Brand New Premises

We have recently moved into brand new premises that has a large dispensary area and 3 consult rooms. A beautiful space to work in.

Professional services

We are wanting a Pharmacist to join our clinical services team! We offer specialized care and advice to our customers, including a range of services such as; MUR, ECP, Trimethoprim, Sildenafil, Methadone, Clozapine, Maviret, vaccinations, Covid Clinical care, CPAMS and Gout. We currently offer these services but need someone to develop and grow these offerings in our community.

Community focus

Flaxmere Pharmacy is a suburb of Hastings in sunny Hawke’s Bay. We service a high needs population, which we are very much part of the community. We offer a number of services in our Pharmacy including Retail, Lotto, NZ Post and Kiwi Bank. This combined with a busy dispensary and the Professional Services we provide, make a positive difference in the health of our community.

Good learning environment

We are offering a permanent full-time or part-time Pharmacist position. We are one of the best options for a new graduate to gain more experience with professional support. We can also provide an opportunity to gain more experience if having to re-sit at the Assessment Centre. Hawke's Bay has one of the highest pass rates in the country for the Assessment Centre.

This position is suitable for a NZ Registered Pharmacist with a bubbly personality, initiative, new ideas, passion for retail, high level of customer service and ability to form great working relationships with the team and other health care professionals. The ideal candidate is someone who is reliable, positive and committed.
