Job summary

Unichem Stokes Valley Pharmacy in Lower Hutt is seeking a motivated NZ registered pharmacist to join our dispensary team. You will provide safe dispensing, patient care and clinical advice across a range of services including vaccinations and medicine management.

The role offers a supportive team environment, opportunities to expand clinical skills, and a focus on community health. Full-time role with two days off each week, located in Stokes Valley, Lower Hutt.

Qualifications

• NZ qualified Pharmacist with APC.
• Strong clinical and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a dispensary team.
• Accredited to supply ECP, Nitrofurantoin and Sildenafil or willing to complete trainings.
• Pharmacist vaccinator accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions safely and accurately while delivering healthcare advice.
• Provide patient-focused counselling and support across pharmacy services.
• Deliver vaccinations and contribute to health promotion initiatives.
• Support specialist services such as ECP, Sildenafil, Tmax/tmp consultations and medicine management.
• Work as part of the dispensary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

About the Role

As part of our dispensary team, you'll provide safe and accurate dispensing while delivering exceptional healthcare advice and customer service. You'll work across a broad range of pharmacy services including:

• Prescription dispensing
• Vaccinations
• ECP consultations
• Sildenafil supply
• TMP consultations
• Nitrofurantoin supply
• Health advice and medicine management
• Retail healthcare support

Do you have what we are looking for?
