Job summary

Ngāhinapōuri School in Waikato is seeking a Permanent Scale A Teacher to lead Year 7 & 8 learners in 2027. You will build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families while guiding transitions to high school and maintaining the joy of learning.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with current practicing certificate in NZ.

At Ngāhinapōuri School, our older students take care of our younger ones, our community backs us, and our staff room is full of laughter. We’re looking for a great teacher to join our senior team in 2027 to lead our Year 7 & 8 learners.

Year 7 and 8 are big transition years. We need someone who understands this age group—teachers who can help senior students build confidence, think for themselves, and get ready for high school without losing the joy of primary school life.
