Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Waitematā is seeking an experienced Theatre Nurse to join the surgical team at North Shore Hospital. In this busy perioperative environment you will provide expert nursing care before, during and after procedures.

With a minimum of 2 years theatre nursing experience, you will collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists and a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and deliver safe, high‑quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years theatre nursing experience (essential).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care before, during and after surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure patient safety.
• Contribute to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a busy theatre setting.
• Engage with the whole team to support efficient and safe patient flow.
