Job summary

Craigmore Sustainables LLP is seeking a Spray Operator/Orchard Hand to support spraying operations and a variety of orchard tasks. You will help maintain crop health while following strict safety protocols and compliance standards.

Relocation assistance and a signing bonus are available for the right candidate. Grow Safe certification is a strong plus, and mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain machinery is valued. Training provided for spraying experience and safe operation.

Job description

As our Spray Operator/Orchard Hand, you'll be at the forefront of our spraying operations, ensuring the health and vitality of our crops while adhering to strict safety protocols and compliance standards. But that's not all – you'll also dive into a variety of other tasks, from mowing and weed spraying to property maintenance and tree husbandry work. Every day will bring new challenges and opportunities to showcase your skills and make a real impact.

We're looking for someone with:

• A strong commitment to health and safety, with a safety-first attitude that guides everything you do
• Previous experience in spraying crops is preferred, but not essential – we're willing to train the right candidate
• Flexibility to work varied hours, especially around spraying schedules and maintenance tasks
• A Grow Safe certificate would be a definite advantage
• Mechanical prowess and the ability to operate and maintain a wide range of machinery and tools
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with team members and stakeholders
