Job summary

Active 4x4 Dismantlers is seeking a Human Resource Adviser to provide professional HR support across our growing workforce. Location is Onehunga, Auckland, with permanent, full-time employment and minimum 40 hours per week. Pay ranges NZD 38.00–46.00 per hour.

The role involves advising management, assisting recruitment and onboarding, developing HR policies, coordinating records, and supporting staff development. A tertiary HR qualification and 5+ years HR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in human resources, business or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant human-resource experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment processes.
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice to management and staff on employment and HR matters.
• Assist with recruitment, selection and onboarding processes.
• Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
• Coordinate employee records and employment documentation.
• Advise management on staff performance and employment matters.
• Assist with workforce planning and staff-development initiatives.
• Coordinate induction, training and employee-development activities.
• Assist with workplace relations and resolution of employment issues.
• Monitor HR practices and recommend improvements.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employment records.
