Job summary

Bidvest New Zealand Limited is seeking a motivated HR Assistant to support managers and employees, assisting with employment relations, recruitment, performance management and culture initiatives. You will also coordinate learning programmes and help analyse workforce data to inform leadership decisions.

You will work closely with branch leadership to deliver broad HR exposure and contribute to continuous improvement across the team. A proactive, organized, people-focused approach is essential.

• HR, People & Culture or Employment Relations understanding.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support and guidance to managers and employees.
• Support employment relations, recruitment activities and performance management.
• Drive employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives.
• Coordinate learning and development programmes.
• Analyse workforce trends and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Support workforce planning and reporting by gathering and analysing people data.
• Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide back-up for in branch Payroll, Compliance and Health and Safety.
