Job summary

Bidfood Auckland South is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the branch HR function across the employee lifecycle. You will report to the General Manager, influence leaders and build a positive workplace culture through practical employment relations advice.

In this hands-on role you’ll oversee recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, workforce data analysis and wellbeing initiatives, while ensuring compliance with New Zealand employment legislation and company

Qualifications

• Experience in New Zealand employment relations and legislation.
• Ability to coach and influence leaders at all levels.
• Experience managing employment investigations and processes.

We're looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the branch HR function and support our leaders and employees across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, providing practical employment relations advice, supporting leaders through people challenges and helping create a positive workplace culture.

What you'll be doing

• Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment relations and employment legislation
• Experience managing investigations and formal employment processes

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment is highly regarded
