New Zealand Post is seeking a People Advisor to provide trusted, day-to-day people advice to leaders across NZ Post. Our People Advisors play a key role in helping leaders navigate everyday people matters with confidence and consistency. You’ll provide practical, risk‑aligned advice across a broad range of employment and HR issues. You’ll support leaders with employee relations matters, performance concerns, policy interpretation, employment agreement queries and people change activity. You’ll manage cases end‑to‑end, escalating higher‑risk or complex matters where needed, and work closely with offshore HR administrators to ensure timely, accurate people transactions. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement and support the delivery of core HR initiatives.
You’re an experienced HR generalist or People Advisor who enjoys working close to the business and solving real problems for leaders and teams. You bring sound judgement, a calm approach to risk, and a genuine desire to help people get it right. You’re organised, approachable and confident juggling multiple matters, and you value clear processes and consistent practice.
