Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Penetration Tester to join our security testing team in Queenstown, New Zealand. You will simulate cyber-attacks to identify vulnerabilities in networks, applications and systems, and report actionable remediation guidance to strengthen defenses.

Bring 3+ years of ethical hacking experience, familiarity with Metasploit, Burp Suite and Nmap, and a degree in cybersecurity or related field.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of penetration testing or ethical hacking experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nmap.
• Strong understanding of networks, operating systems, and web app security.
• Experience in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or GPEN are highly desirable.
