WhatJobs Direct is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our early intervention team serving Queenstown, Eastern Cape. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Registered with HPCSA as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric experience, early intervention focus.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive OT assessments for infants and young children to identify developmental needs.
• Develop and implement family-centered intervention plans addressing motor, sensory, cognitive, and self-care skills.
• Provide direct therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
• Deliver telehealth services including assessment, therapy, and parent coaching.
• Educate and train parents/caregivers on strategies to support development at home.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
• Adapt home and educational environments to support function and participation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
