Job summary

The Warehouse Group distribution centre in Auckland is seeking a hands-on Inwards Locals team member to unload, check, receipted stock and prepare it for the floor. You’ll be on the frontline of processing incoming local stock in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

This fixed-term position runs through peak season to February 2027, Monday to Friday 6:00am–2:30pm, paying 30.28 NZD per hour. You should be physically fit, able to lift 1–20 kg, and work well both independently and as part of a

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift and handle stock 1–20 kg with care and accuracy.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Unpacking cartons (1kg–20kg).
• Scanning and sorting stock by barcode.
• Using RF scanners to track items.
• Assisting with closing, labelling, and prepping stock for the floor.
• Operating pallet jacks, box cutters, and strapping machines.
• Bulk picking and managing stock locations.
• Adapting to changing priorities throughout the day.
