Job summary

Archway Recruitment in East Tamaki, North Island is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to support the payroll function during an exciting period of systems enhancement and project delivery.

This fixed term contract will run through to February/March 2027 and offers hands-on payroll work, a significant Time & Attendance implementation, and exposure to payroll projects within a busy team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous payroll administration experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience using payroll & TA systems.
• Experience supporting system implementations or payroll projects would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with end-to-end payroll processing.
• Supporting the Payroll Manager with the implementation of a Time & Attendance system.
• Contributing to payroll process improvement initiatives and project work.
• Assisting with testing, system administration and user support during implementation activities.
• Working across payroll systems including Datapay.
• Ensuring payroll activities comply with company policies and legislative requirements.
