Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Nelson Marlborough is seeking a Payroll Officer to join the Richmond Health Hub on a permanent full-time basis. The role covers end-to-end payroll for around 3,000 Nelson Marlborough employees and uses a roster-to-pay system to manage complex schedules.
Based at the Richmond Health Hub, you will contribute to accurate and timely payroll services. The role suits someone with payroll experience or a strong administration background who is keen to learn payroll

Our payroll team is responsiblefor end-to-end processing payroll for just over 3,000 Nelson Marlboroughemployees, geographically, spread from Murchison to Blenheim. We have afully integrated roster-to-pay system to assist us with such a large andcomplex payroll service.
Our key focus is to provide aquality payroll service to our fellow colleagues. We strive forexcellence in everything we do and are always open to new ideas on how to improve our service.
This is a permanent role, working80 hours per fortnight (1 FTE), Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7.00AMto 4.30PM. The role isemployed under Nelson Hospital, however, will be based at the Richmond HealthHub.

Weare looking for applicants who have:
Tosucceed in this role, you will have an interest in payroll and working withPayroll/HRIS applications.
Itwould be advantageous if you have knowledge of NZ Payroll related legislation,experience with roster-to-pay systems and experience with using AMS Software(LEADER, ACTOR, SQL). However, this is not essential as training will beprovided to the right candidate who has a strong administration background andis keen to develop their career in payroll.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in NewZealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
