Job summary

TDX is seeking a Parts Correspondent in Christchurch to support customers, manage orders and provide product information with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.

You will interpret purchase orders, coordinate dispatch, and ensure documentation is complete while delivering high-quality service to customers and suppliers. This role offers ongoing training, weekly pay, and opportunities to grow within a market-leading New Zealand-owned business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a parts department or similar customer‑focused role.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Confidence using computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide face‑to‑face, over the phone and email support and advice to our customers to ensure they receive the right part, at the right price, at the right time and place.
• Interpret & process incoming purchase orders for efficient dispatch.
• Coordinate the dispatch of customer orders within an acceptable time frame, ensuring all documentation requirements are met.
• Be committed to providing a quality service to internal and external customers and suppliers.

Role

Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for supporting our customers and internal teams by ensuring enquiries are interpreted appropriately, orders are processed accurately, parts are available when required, and customers receive the highest level of service.
