Job summary
Selwyn District Council is seeking an experienced Professional Partnership Programme Lead & Auditor to own and grow the PPP, ensuring quality assurance and continual improvement across the district's building consent services. The role combines stakeholder engagement, technical auditing, and programme leadership from our Rolleston base.
You will manage partner relationships, undertake audits, and champion growth while aligning with regulatory requirements and industry needs.
Qualifications
- 10+ years' relevant experience in the building industry, with NZ context preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the New Zealand Building Act 2004 and building consent processes.
- Experience with BCA accreditation requirements and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships with stakeholders.
- Customer-facing experience within construction or building sectors.
Responsibilities
- Lead partner relationship management and communications for the PPP.
- Drive programme growth, promotion and oversight.
- Conduct technical reviews and annual partner assessments.
- Perform quality system auditing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as the primary contact for PPP partners and drive programme excellence.
