Job summary

Community Connections in Upper Hutt is hiring a part-time Support Worker to assist with daily living tasks, home management, cooking, mobility support and shopping. You’ll join a caring team and help people participate in activities and community life.

We value empathy, patience and reliability. The role requires NZ work rights, a valid NZ driver licence, and safety checks; prior experience with disability support is ideal.

Qualifications

• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Full, clean NZ Driver Licence.
• Willingness to complete Police and Oranga Tamariki safety checks.
• Experience supporting people with complex support needs or behaviours of concern.
• Experience supporting autistic people.
• A high standard of written and spoken English.
