Job summary

Whānau Āwhina Plunket in New Zealand is seeking a Perinatal Wellbeing Administrator to provide high-quality admin support for a new online service serving the Waikato region. This part-time fixed-term role runs until 31 January 2028, working 24 hours across 5 days, with a multidisciplinary team and opportunities to shape a pilot programme.

You will be central to referrals, enquiries, enrolment, reporting and system integrity, ensuring whānau experience a welcoming, confidential and responsive

Qualifications

• Experienced administrator with warmth, empathy and confidentiality.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with health or clinical information systems.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and manage competing tasks.
• Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equitable outcomes for Māori.

Responsibilities

• Monitor service inbox and process referrals.
• Contact potential clients and follow up referrals.
• Support whānau to understand the service, consent and enrolment.
• Communicate with referrers to gather complete information.
• Book appointments and maintain secure client records.
• Support service manager and multidisciplinary team.
