Job summary

Whānau Āwhina Plunket in Aotearoa, New Zealand, seeks a Perinatal Wellbeing Administrator to support a new online service focused on the Waikato region. This part-time, fixed-term role runs until 31 January 2028, delivering essential administrative support across referrals, enrolment and records.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure welcoming, responsive service delivery from first contact, while upholding privacy and professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• Experience in health or clinical administration preferred.
• Strong data entry skills and high accuracy.
• Ability to learn new information systems quickly.
• Warm, empathetic communication with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor referrals inbox and process incoming referrals.
• Contact potential clients and follow up referrals promptly.
• Assist whānau to understand the service, obtain informed consent and enrolment.
• Book appointments and maintain client records securely.
• Support the service manager and multidisciplinary team.
