Job summary

Presbyterian Support Otago is seeking a Laundry Assistant in Alexandra to support Ranui and Castlewood facilities. The role involves washing, drying, sorting, folding and distributing laundry with a focus on hygiene and presentation.

Applicants with laundry experience are preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are welcomed. Orientation and training are provided as part of joining a supportive team in a caring environment.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry experience in a commercial or residential setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, sort, fold and distribute resident and facility laundry.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation.
• Ensure clothing and linen are cleaned and returned with care.
