Job summary

Wellington Regional Hospital is seeking a NZ Registered Dietitian for a fixed-term, part-time role (0.8 FTE / 32 hours per week) until January 2028. The position will work across the inpatient setting, with a caseload likely spanning gastroenterology, medical, orthopaedics and urology, plus potential outpatient work.

You will join a friendly, dynamic team of dietitians, with opportunities to lead service improvement and contribute to resource development.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Dietitian with current annual practising certificate with prescribing endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Have excellent communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with local service providers and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate excellent clinical skills and have a flexible, problem solving approach.
• Have experience working with Māori & Pacific populations (desirable).
