Stoke School in New Zealand is inviting applications for an Learning Support Coordinator. The role is part time (0.37–0.4 FTE) and permanent, based at Stoke School, starting from 2027.

You will work closely with the Principal and DPs to coordinate learning support and strengthen inclusive practices across the full primary school. The successful candidate will have NZ teacher registration, experience with diverse learning needs, and a deep understanding of inclusive education and UDL, paired with

• Current New Zealand teacher registration and certification.
• Experience supporting neurodivergent learners.
• Knowledge of inclusive education, assessment, evidence-informed interventions and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).

Responsabilidades

• help ensure ākonga with diverse and additional learning needs receive timely, practical and well-coordinated support
• contribute to our inclusive culture
• support early identification of learning needs and interventions
• coordinate individual learning support plans
• work with teachers and teacher aides to strengthen classroom practice
• use a range of strategies and assessments to inform learner strengths and needs
• support parents and whānau to understand processes and guide decision making
• liaise with specialist services, including RTLB and the Ministry of Education
• support transitions,maintain accurate, confidential records with adherence to privacy requirements
