Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora seeks a Clinical Psychologist to work with adults in a forensic context across hospital, prison and community settings. You will join a supportive multidisciplinary team and contribute to assessments, interventions, and reporting to the court.

Essentially you need a Masters in Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology or equivalent, and current NZ Psychologist Board registration with an annual practising certificate.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Psychology is required.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
• Registered with the NZ Psychologist Board with current annual practising certificate.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking psychological assessments and interventions with clients in a forensic setting.
• Liaising and working with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Writing psychological reports to the court.
• Providing consult-liaison to other services.
