Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating, quantity surveying, or related cost planning in construction, plumbing, or gas fitting.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and pricing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understanding of plumbing and gas fitting materials and labour requirements and regulations.
• Proficiency with basic office software; experience with estimating or job management tools is an advantage.
• Effective communication skills for working with tradespeople, suppliers, and clients, and for presenting clear written quotations.
• Ability to work independently on-site, manage part-time hours efficiently, and prioritize multiple quotes and deadlines.
• Relevant trade background, estimating experience, or qualifications in construction, plumbing, or a related field are beneficial.
• Current right to work in New Zealand and a commitment to health, safety, and ethical business practices.

Role Description

This part-time Estimator role is an on-site position based in Waikato, New Zealand.
