Job summary

Wonky Box in Auckland seeks a creative writer to own email campaigns, social content, and website copy, turning ideas into engaging material from day one. You’ll collaborate with the marketing team and report to the Head of Growth & Marketing, taking a meaningful slice of content and campaigns to propel new strategies.

You should be confident with Klaviyo (or similar), have a strong sense of brand tone, and enjoy building creator partnerships.

Qualifications

• Klaviyo or similar email platforms experience.
• Strong writing ability with brand tone.
• Good eye for design; comfortable with Canva.
• Interested in influencer and creator marketing.
• People-oriented and community-minded.
• Experience with Shopify or similar ecommerce platform.
• Self-starter with ideas and organisational skills.
• Curious about numbers and marketing metrics.
• Eager to work in fast-moving ecommerce environment.
• Auckland-based; able to work in Otahuhu warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Build email campaigns in Klaviyo that engage customers.
• Learn what makes emails land and how to reduce unsubscribes.
• Write on-brand copy for emails, campaigns and the website.
• Own creator and influencer outreach end to end.
• Grow and nurture the community across channels.
• Assist with content gathering in the warehouse and keep Shopify store tidy.
• Understand how content, campaigns and emails drive conversion.
• Join weekly marketing catch-ups and share ideas.
• Support other marketing tasks as needed.
