Job summary

The Health NZ Counties Manukau’s Kidz First Ambulatory Care is seeking an experienced Paediatric Nurse to join the multidisciplinary team, providing advanced holistic care to children with neurodevelopmental needs and their whaanau. The role is based at Manukau Health Park.

As Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will assess patients, coordinate care, and support clinicians in Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics while contributing to quality initiatives across the service. NZ registration is essential.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
• Minimum 5+ years recent clinical experience in paediatric nursing in NZ.
• Postgraduate qualification completed or near completion.
• Full and clean NZ driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Providing clinical assessment, holistic care co-ordination and education for paediatric patients in Outpatient and Community settings, predominantly with neurodevelopmental needs and their whaanau.
• Supporting all clinicians within Ambulatory Care with Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics knowledge and expertise.
• Contributing clinical expertise to development and maintenance of quality activities, including policies and procedures across the service.
• Participate in development and delivery of paediatric ambulatory services.
• Other tasks as required.
