Job summary

Sunstone Talent in Christchurch, NZ seeks a Contract Payroll Consultant for a 3-month assignment (15-32 hours/week). You will cleanse and reconcile payroll data, support migration efforts, and work with HR/Finance to ensure data integrity.

Strong Excel and payroll experience are essential, with a preference for AI-assisted process improvements. Flexible hours and onsite options are available in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in commerce or related field (BCom/BA).
• Minimum 6 years’ commercial payroll experience.
• Strong data cleansing, reconciliation and validation skills.
• Experience with payroll migrations or implementations is desirable.
• Excellent Excel data manipulation and analysis.
• Attention to detail and data integrity across payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Support a payroll system migration with data cleansing and validation.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance on data integrity and reconciliation.
• Analyze large payroll datasets to ensure accuracy.
