Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in Invercargill is seeking an experienced Registered Midwife to join the Southland Hospital Maternity team as a Clinical Midwife Coordinator on a fixed term basis until 9 July 2027. You will support clinical midwifery standards, coordinate day-to-day operations across shifts, and supervise midwifery, nursing, support staff and students.

Competenze

Registered Midwife with a current annual practising certificate.
Proven clinical credibility across all aspects of midwifery care.
Strong communication, conflict resolution, and mediation skills.
Committed to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
Able to build effective working relationships and work independently or within multidisciplinary teams.
Relevant postgraduate qualification, or willingness to work towards one.

Mansioni

Coordinate day-to-day operations across shifts.
Provide supervision to midwifery, nursing, support staff, and students.
Promote excellence in maternity care and clinical standards.
Support the Midwifery Manager and collaborate with the team across Southland Hospital.
