Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Lakes is seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented individual to join the Clinical Equipment Pool at Rotorua Hospital on a permanent part‑time basis, 16 hours per week, ideally Tuesday and Wednesday. You will help coordinate equipment flow and ensure items are available for patient care.

You will work under the supervision of a senior Equipment Coordinator, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and technically minded.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily coordination and oversight of equipment entering and leaving the pool.
• Ensure clinical equipment is well functioning and maintained.
• Ensure ward staff have the right equipment in the right place at the right time for patient care.
• Assist in education of ward staff on correct use and maintenance of equipment.
