Job summary

Lh dairy and foods taupo in Taupo is hiring a part-time delivery/warehouse assistant for 3 days a week.

Job description

Lh dairy and foods taupo – Taupo, North Island

We are looking for someone to join our small team part time 3 days a week. Work days are thursday/friday and Saturday. Work hours are 2.30am starts with roughly 7-9 hour days depending on the time of the year. $29 and hour starting rate.

We deliver mainly bread,milk and juice around the taupo and turangi area to a big range of customers using class 2 trucks so a class 2 license is a must. Some heavy lifting and physical work is involved so keep that in mind roughly 20kg.

You will be picking orders using a handheld similar to a smart phone so must be able to use this type of technology.

We have 2 runs/trucks and the candidate will learn both. One of our runs most days will have 2 people in it, so you must work well with others as this will be the run you will be on mostly. You will also be left to work alone when people are sick or having holidays so must be confident to work solo.

The successful candidate will also have to pass a pre employment drug test.
