Job summary

Waitomo Homestead is hiring for 4 x part-time fixed-term positions. You’ll join a friendly hospitality team, helping guests with warm service, food and drink preparation, and café operations at a world‑renowned New Zealand destination. No extensive experience is required; a positive attitude and a passion for hospitality are key.

Barista or food service experience is advantageous but not essential. Applicants should be able to work on weekends and public holidays as part of a 7‑day rotating

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, friendly customer service to guests.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages.
• Make coffee and support café operations.
• Maintain attractive food displays and service areas.
• Operate point-of-sale and EFTPOS systems.
• Assist with stock rotation and replenishment.
• Support food preparation activities.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
• Work with a team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
