Job summary

Ara Poutama Aotearoa – Department of Corrections in Wellington seeks a Hearing Manager to coordinate parole hearings and liaise with victims, Board Members and other stakeholders. The role supports the New Zealand Parole Board, with duties spanning case management, hearing facilitation, and stakeholder liaison.

You will work across Prison sites or via MS Teams, based in Wellington or Hawke’s Bay, and you must maintain confidentiality, integrity and high organisational standards.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative capabilities with attention to detail.
• Experience coordinating complex processes and stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate with victims, Board Members and other parties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate case files and hearings with accuracy.
• Facilitate parole hearings in person or via MS Teams.
• Liaise with multiple stakeholders including victims and counsel.
• Maintain confidentiality and data integrity across systems.
