Job summary

Team Global Express in Cromwell is seeking a Parcel Driver to safely deliver and collect parcels to homes and businesses. You will load and unload freight, plan efficient routes, and maintain delivery records while upholding vehicle standards and customer service excellence.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm (45 hours/week). A good knowledge of the local region and a customer-focused mindset are essential; forklift and Class 2 licenses are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of the Cromwell region and surrounding areas.
• Forklift, Class 2 and above licenses are advantageous.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused attitude.
• OSH Forklift certification preferred but not essential.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 4.00pm, 45 hours per week

About the role - Mō te tūranga

As a Parcel Driver, you’ll be responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of parcels to homes and businesses. Your duties include loading and unloading freight, planning efficient routes, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining delivery records and vehicle standards.

• Deliver and pickup on time and in full
• Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures
• Ensure all freight is handled without damage
• Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it.

You’ll need a good knowledge of the region, be willing to get stuck in and have a customer focused mindset.

Holding your Forklift license and Class 2 and above licenses are a huge advantage.

• Full NZ Class 1 license – clean (must have)
• DG license – ideal
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player mindset
• Customer focused attitude
• OSH Forklift certification (preferred but not essential)
