Job summary

Team Global Express Cromwell is seeking a Parcel Driver to safely and efficiently deliver parcels to homes and businesses, load/unload freight, plan efficient routes and maintain delivery records.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7.30am–4.00pm, 45 hours per week. You will uphold vehicle standards and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Full NZ Class 1 license – clean (must have).
• DG license – ideal.
• OSH forklift certification preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pickup on time and in full.
• Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures.
• Ensure all freight is handled without damage.
• Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it.

About the role - Mō te tūranga

As a Parcel Driver, you’ll be responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of parcels to homes and businesses. Your duties include loading and unloading freight, planning efficient routes, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining delivery records and vehicle standards.

• Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it.

You’ll need a good knowledge of the region, be willing to get stuck in and have a customer focused mindset.

Holding your Forklift license and Class 2 and above licenses are a huge advantage.
