Qualifications

• Previous Assistant Category Manager experience preferred.
• Proven negotiation and influencing skills are important.
• Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to adapt to changing conditions.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and interpersonal abilities.
• High proficiency in verbal and written communication.
• Proficient with Excel and Google Apps for daily work.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Category Manager in executing category plans aligned to customer needs and store targets.
• Run promotional programs to deliver against sales, profit and market share targets.
• Optimise promotions through frequency, depth, funding and phasing for value.
• Use data and insights to ensure customer-led offers with ROI.
• Collaborate with suppliers on promotional investments and KPI-aligned executions.
